Avery County Middle School After School Program 2024-2025
The Williams YMCA of Avery County is excited to launch our Middle School After-School program for Avery Middle and Cranberry Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year! Middle schoolers will have time to work on homework, interact with peers through different clubs, and receive a snack each day.
Registration is online only
After school provides students with an opportunity to continue learning after school is over through homework help from staff and tutors, targeted reading and math activities, social-emotional learning, art projects, guest speakers, and other enrichment activities. We provide physical activity daily to ensure your child is staying active. We follow the school calendar and offer after-school on any day that school is in session for a full day; we do not provide after-school on early dismissal days. Transportation will be provided by the YMCA from the Schools to the YMCA’s Blackburn Athletic Facility. All students will need to be picked up by 6 pm or have an adult on campus to participate in other YMCA programs and activities.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays, February 2025 – May 2025
Time: School dismissal – 6:00 PM
Where: Blackburn Athletic Facility
Cost: $75/ month/ child
