Avery County Middle School After School Program 2024-2025
The Williams YMCA of Avery County is excited to launch our Middle School After-School program at Cranberry Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year! Middle schoolers will have time to work on homework, interact with peers through different clubs, and receive a meal each day.
Registration is online only begining October 23rd at 9:00 am.
After School will start on November 6th for all Cranberry Middle School Students*
After school provides students with an opportunity to continue learning after school is over through homework help from staff and tutors, targeted reading and math activities, social-emotional learning, art projects, guest speakers, and other enrichment activities. We provide physical activity daily to ensure your child is staying active. We follow the school calendar and offer after-school on any day that school is in session for a full day; we do not provide after-school on early dismissal days.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays, November 2024 – May 2025
Time: School dismissal – 6:00 PM
Where: Cranberry Middle School
Cost: $50/ month/ child
*Due to Hurricane Helene, should Avery County Schools not resume on November 6th, the start of this Middle School program will also be delayed.
